The Gang took off to Sydders last weekend hell bent on social indulgence only – with no arts related agenda whatsoever – and had a fabulous time. The gala occasion was Cat’s big 5-oh! – and despite the fact what we belted up and back specifically for the par-tay, with no dallying along the way (bar for a dash-through-and-pick-up detour to IKEA), it was a comfortable and strangely restful 36 hours. Probably ‘cos Sammy did all the driving!!
Anyhoo it was so nice to catch up with Cat’s mob, however briefly, and we loved the venue (the Balmain Rowing Club) - and of course completely forgot to take snaps of that wonderful harbour view before darkness fell…
