The Gang just received this lovely snap-pack from Canadian glassie Natali Rodrigues, who we all got to hang out with a few years back while she was in the Postgraduate Program at the ANU School of Art (doing her Masters.)
With an Open Heart: Begegnung is an exhibition of her latest work; featuring cast and blown glass, and (serious bonus) those wonderful drawings of hers…
Though she’s been teaching for some time at ACAD (Alberta College of Art and Design) the big news is that she’s just landed the full-time teaching position there – which is pretty serious stuff! Congrats and best wishes from everyone in the ‘Berra, Nat – you rock.
Nat also tells us that Lene’s just been in, teaching Swedish glass blowing to the students. With any luck they’ll send across some snaps…
