Luna’s postcard from Holland and Crete arrived a mere nanosecond after she touched down herself – ain’t it always the way? Never mind, we were thrilled to receive it – though not so thrilled to see how disrespectfully our poor Neddy is treated in the Mediterranean; as a rubbish bin, no less. What the hell were they thinking? Oh the indignity…the sacrilege!
Meanwhile it was great to see the pics from the Aboriginal Art Museum in Utrech, which happened to be holding the Shittering: een wereld van shimmer, rarrk en glitter (Brilliance: a world of shimmer, rarrk and glitter) exhibition; featuring the work of Emily Kame Kngwarreye, John Mawurndjul, Christian Thompson, Brenda Croft and Dutch Artist Maria Roosen.
Then she threw in - just for good measure - a window display of mosaic lamp-shades and the cute little ladybird tiles that are dotted all over the pavements to remind people not to be violent…!
Later, during her well-earned R&R on Crete, when not languishing the afternoon away on a scenic terrace (those are her mother’s legs…), she stumbled across the dodgiest scenic boardwalk imaginable, discovered the parodie de Ned, and mounted a general survey of noteable local hangouts…
See for yourself on…

Luna’s promised more photos of glass - as soon as she’s unpacked the trunks and uncovered the disks….
